September 2, 2025 — Leads & Copy — TechBlocks has partnered with NET2GRID to enhance grid and customer intelligence for utilities, moving beyond basic smart meter deployments.
The collaboration integrates TechBlocks’ expertise in cloud platforms and OT systems with NET2GRID’s EnergyAI SaaS solution, which provides EV, solar, and battery detection, load disaggregation, and detailed household energy profiles from AMI 2.0 and Itron Distributed Intelligence meters.
This combination allows utilities to feed intelligence into OT platforms for operational reliability and connect to Customer Data Platforms for unified customer engagement. The partnership aims to improve grid reliability, manage renewable integration, reduce call center volume, and offer personalized customer insights.
TechBlocks’ engineering pods can integrate NET2GRID analytics into portals, CIS, CDPs, and field workflows in as little as 90 days. For Itron-enabled utilities such as PG&E, TECO, and BC Hydro, the partnership extends the value of AMI 2.0 investments without replacing core systems.
Sean Bredin, Managing Director Emerging Markets at TechBlocks, noted that they are helping utilities leverage datasets for EV and DER insights. Andy Duffy, Director of Partnerships, North America at NET2GRID, added that the partnership supports utilities in elevating customer engagement and improving grid reliability.
