New York, NY — September 4, 2025 — Leads & Copy — NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NNE) has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with Idaho National Laboratory (INL), under the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), to advance clean energy solutions.
The agreement aims to build, test, gain regulatory approval, and commercialize NANO Nuclear’s advanced nuclear microreactors, including the stationary KRONOS MMR™ and portable LOKI MMR™ systems. The CRADA will enable NANO Nuclear to use INL’s capabilities via the National Reactor Innovation Center to accelerate reactor development, from design and materials to licensing and deployment.
James Walker, CEO of NANO Nuclear, said the agreement supports the company’s progress and marks the next phase of technical maturity. Florent Heidet, Ph.D., CTO of NANO Nuclear, added that the agreement will help deliver simple, safe, and reliable small stationary and portable nuclear microreactors.
INL is managed by Battelle Energy Alliance for the DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy. NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. focuses on portable and microreactor technologies, nuclear fuel fabrication and transportation, space applications, and consulting services.
