Western Magnesium Opens New Production Facility Near Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada — February 20, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Western Magnesium Corporation (WMC) has moved into its new 44,000-square-foot facility located 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
The facility will house the company’s revamped Demonstration Plant, designed to accelerate prototyping, showcase processes, and support scaled production and testing of magnesium metal.
Assembly of the Demonstration Plant is underway with a target completion timeline of six months.
WMC Executive Chairman and CEO Sam Ataya said the new facility positions the company at the forefront of sustainable magnesium production.
Ataya added that combining infrastructure with a location near Las Vegas enhances the company’s capabilities and creates opportunities for collaboration, talent attraction, and industry leadership.
North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown welcomed Western Magnesium Corporation to North Las Vegas and said the company’s expansion is a testament to the strength of the city’s business community and will offer careers to residents.
The facility’s proximity to the Las Vegas Strip offers access to transportation hubs, talent pools, and business networks.
Further details on the Demonstration Plant’s capabilities and milestones will be shared as assembly progresses.
Western Magnesium Corporation is dedicated to becoming a low-cost producer of green, primary magnesium metal using technology that produces 99.8% pure magnesium directly from the reactor while minimizing environmental impact.
