Lode Gold Advances Fremont Gold Mine Project with Permitting Support

February 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Lode Gold Resources Inc. is moving forward with its Fremont Gold Mine project in Mariposa County, California. The company has engaged a San Francisco-based legal and permitting advisory group to support the permitting process for an upcoming drilling program.

The permit application seeks authorization for ten surface drill holes totaling approximately 1,500 meters. The drilling is intended to gather data for a planned Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).

The drilling program will collect material for updated metallurgical testing and geotechnical data. This information will characterize rock quality, structural conditions, and ground support requirements, focusing on areas suitable for early-stage underground development and mine plan optimization.

Lode Gold states the drilling program is focused on technical validation rather than resource expansion, aiming to de-risk key engineering parameters for underground mine design as Fremont advances toward the PFS stage.

In other news, Lode Gold, 1475039 BC Ltd., and one of its business partners are in a disagreement over contractual terms. The business partner has filed a Notice of Claim seeking compensation. Lode Gold believes it has met its contractual obligations and has retained legal counsel to respond.

Lode Gold has key assets in Canada and the United States. The Fremont Gold Mine project has seen 43,000 meters of drilling, 8,000 channel samples, 14 adits, and 2 shafts. Mining ceased in 1942. A PEA was completed in 2023, based on 1 million ounces (M&I) and 2 million ounces (Inferred). The MRE was updated in 2025. The project sits on over 3,000 acres of 100% owned private and patented land designated as an Opportunity Zone.

The Dingman Property in Ontario, Canada, has over 22,000 meters drilled and a 2013 PEA. MRE estimates 376,000 ounces (M&I) and 47,000 ounces (Inferred).

Gold Orogen (1475039 B.C. Ltd.) is an early-stage exploration company with assets in the Yukon and New Brunswick, Canada. The New Brunswick assets, McIntyre Brook and Riley Brook, are located on a prospective belt with discoveries including Dalradian, New Found Gold, and Calibre Mining.
