Graphene Manufacturing Group (TSXV:GMG) Receives EPA Approval Conditions for THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE

Brisbane, Australia — December 22, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (GMG) has received approval conditions from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE graphene coating product.

The EPA’s consent notice approval signifies a milestone for GMG, allowing the company to bring the product to the U.S. market. THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE offers energy savings and enhanced corrosion resistance to consumers and businesses.

The EPA’s Pre-Manufacture Notice (PMN) program ensures the safety and environmental soundness of new chemicals introduced into the United States.

The initial shipment of THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE will be sent to Nu-Calgon for distribution and resale as “Nu-Calgon CoolWorx® powered by GMG Graphene” upon receipt of the fully signed consent notice from the EPA, expected early in the new year.

GMG Managing Director and CEO Craig Nicol stated the approval conditions allow the company to sell into the largest HVAC coating market globally through its distributor and partner, Nu-Calgon.

GMG Chairman and Non-Executive Director Jack Perkowski noted the consent notice approval conditions are a significant step in the company’s development because the United States is a large market for air conditioning coatings, and Nu-Calgon is a distribution partner.

THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE is a coating system that improves the conductivity of corroded heat exchange surfaces while maintaining the performance of new units. The process coats and protects heat exchange surfaces, improving thermal conductivity and increasing the heat transfer rate, resulting in efficiency improvement and potential power reduction.

THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE is patented for 20 years in Australia and is expected to be patented in other countries.

Significant milestones for THERMAL-XR® powered by GMG Graphene:

GMG develops, makes, and sells energy-saving and energy storage solutions enabled by graphene manufactured via its in-house production process. The company decomposes natural gas into carbon (as graphene), hydrogen, and residual hydrocarbon gases, producing scalable graphene suitable for use in clean-technology and other applications.

GMG’s present focus is to de-risk and develop commercial scale-up capabilities, and secure market applications. In the energy savings segment, GMG has initially focused on graphene enhanced heating, ventilation and air conditioning (“HVAC-R”) coating (or energy-saving coating) which is now being marketed into other applications including electronic heat sinks, industrial process plants and data centres. Another product GMG has developed is the graphene lubricant additive focused on saving liquid fuels initially for diesel engines.

In the energy storage segment, GMG and the University of Queensland are working collaboratively with financial support from the Australian Government to progress R&D and commercialization of graphene aluminium-ion batteries (“G+AI Batteries”). GMG has also developed a graphene additive slurry that is aimed to improve the performance of lithium-ion batteries.

GMG’s critical business objectives are to produce graphene, build revenue from energy savings products, develop next-generation batteries, and develop supply chain, partners & project execution capability.
