Calgary, Alberta — October 16, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Energy Connections Canada (ECC) will host its First Fall Technical Showcase, a half-day event focusing on the safe, reliable, and economic transport of CO2 and H2 via pipelines. The event, themed “Next Gen Pipelines: New Tech for Shipping CO2 and H2,” will gather pipeline operators, engineering experts, and researchers to explore technologies shaping the transport of these future molecules, featuring a trade show and a panel of speakers.
Program highlights include a keynote presentation by David Van Den Assem of Alberta Innovates on the “Role of Innovation in Canada’s Energy Future.” Additional speakers are from Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, C-FER Technologies, Calgary Region Hydrogen Hub, CSA Group, Group 10 Engineering, Hii Engineering, ROSEN Group, Stantec, Total Containment and University of Calgary.
Technical Focus Sessions will cover CO₂ Pipeline Research & Innovation, Hydrogen Infrastructure Challenges & Solutions, and CO₂/H₂ Policy and Standards. A Tech Expo will feature ten exhibition booths showcasing innovative products, research, and technologies from ECC members and partners.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University of Calgary Downtown Campus Event Centre, 906-8th Ave., S.W., Calgary, Alberta.
