HOUSTON and LONDON — December 22, 2025 — Leads & Copy —

Baker Hughes (NASDAQ: BKR) announced Monday that it has received a Full Notice To Proceed from Technip Energies on behalf of Commonwealth LNG to supply primary liquefaction equipment for Commonwealth LNG’s 9.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) export facility currently under development in Cameron, Louisiana.

The award includes six refrigerant turbo compressors comprising LM9000 aeroderivative gas turbines paired with centrifugal compressors, and leverages Baker Hughes’ LNG technologies to support Technip Energies and Commonwealth LNG. Baker Hughes’ collaboration with both companies will help ensure the delivery of Commonwealth LNG’s export facility, designed to meet the growing global demand for reliable, lower-carbon LNG.

Caturus Chief Executive Officer David Lawler said that this significant capital investment in the Commonwealth LNG platform is a key milestone, along with the financing process, and illustrates the company’s level of commitment to developing this global-scale LNG project. He added that the Commonwealth project is a crucial component of Caturus’ wellhead-to-water strategy, and this is another important step toward building the nation’s leading independent integrated natural gas company.

Technip Energies CEO Arnaud Pieton said that the award for critical liquefaction equipment marks another significant milestone in advancing the Commonwealth LNG project toward its final investment decision. He added that this progress reflects the strong collaboration with Commonwealth LNG and Baker Hughes, and looks forward to the teams working together to deliver a modular LNG facility, enhancing energy security while addressing growing global demand for gas and LNG.

Baker Hughes Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli said that delivering the LM9000 technology to Commonwealth LNG demonstrates the strength of Baker Hughes’ capabilities across the LNG value chain. He added that this award underscores the company’s commitment to enabling energy infrastructure that is critical to support sustainable energy development, delivering affordable and reliable energy to meet growing global demand.

The LM9000 is the most efficient gas turbine in its power class (70+ MW range) with more than 44% efficiency in ISO conditions. Its mean time between maintenance (MTBM) and compact package design enable simplified maintenance, extended service intervals, high availability, and fast installation and commissioning. The scope also includes commissioning services, capital spares, extended warranty, and a full string test.
