Reno, Nev. — October 31, 2025 — Leads & Copy — American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) CEO Ryan Melsert participated in the IEA Energy Innovation Forum 2025 in Toronto, preceding the G7 Energy and Environment Ministers’ Meeting.
The forum, co-hosted by the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Government of Canada, convened 200 international experts to address energy technology innovation challenges. Outcomes from the forum are designed to inform the G7 Energy and Environment Ministers’ Meeting, where global leaders will discuss strategies for energy security, sustainability, and innovation.
Melsert opened the session on securing critical battery mineral supplies, highlighting ABTC’s role in developing advanced technologies for battery recycling and sustainable sourcing of lithium and other critical battery metals.
Sessions focused on AI for energy technology, carbon dioxide removal, and battery mineral resilience.
