Vancouver, BC — September 15, 2025 — Leads & Copy — MCF Energy Ltd. (TSXV: MCF) (FRA: DC6) (OTCQX: MCFNF) has announced an operational update for the Kinsau-1A well in Lech, Germany. The Kinsau-1A drilling project, a re-entry and redrill of the Kinsau-1 discovery well originally drilled in 1983 by Mobil, previously produced test results of over 24 million cubic feet of gas and condensate per day. After reaching a depth of 3022 meters on Sept. 8, the Kinsau-1A well ran logs and cemented 9 5/8th inch casing at a depth of 3006 meters. Drilling commenced on Sept. 9, and the Jurassic Purbeck carbonate interval was penetrated on Sept. 10. The well reached a total depth of 3310 meters and well logging activities are currently underway.
James Hill, CEO of MCF Energy, expressed excitement about the results when the Purbeck and Malm Carbonate intervals were encountered, noting Germany’s significant natural gas resources can reduce imports and provide energy security with a lower carbon footprint than imported gas.
MCF Energy was established in 2022 to bolster Europe’s energy security through responsible natural gas exploration and development. The company holds interests in several natural gas exploration projects in Austria and Germany and is evaluating additional opportunities throughout Europe.
