SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — November 4, 2025 — Leads & Copy — NewHydrogen, Inc. (OTCMKTS: NEWH) and the University of California, Santa Barbara have jointly filed a second provisional patent application for its ThermoLoop™ technology, which uses water and heat to produce green hydrogen.
The patent, titled “Improved Materials and Methods For Production of Chemicals By Thermochemical Looping,” details improvements to ThermoLoop, including new material compositions and the first disclosure of the new isothermal hydrogen process.
NewHydrogen’s technical team has completed preliminary design and economic studies on integrating ThermoLoop with current and future power plants, concluding that Small Modular Reactors are a good match as a source of baseload heat.
NewHydrogen is developing ThermoLoop™ — a breakthrough technology that uses water and heat instead of electricity to produce clean hydrogen. By using heat directly, the use of expensive electricity can be reduced.
