TORONTO — October 27, 2025 Leads & Copy — Northland Power Inc. (TSX:NPI) gained 6.4 percent this week after securing €1.2 billion in financing for its Baltic Power offshore wind project and receiving final permits for its Hai Long development in Taiwan.
The Toronto-based renewable energy firm said the financing includes green bonds and export credit guarantees, with construction expected to begin in early 2026. Both projects are expected to contribute to long-term earnings and contracted cash flows.
CEO Mike Crawley said Northland is expanding its offshore wind portfolio while maintaining a strong development pipeline in Canada and Europe.
Shares are up 22 percent this quarter.
